We are commited to minimizing the number of deaths of pregnant mom dogs, moms with puppies and very young puppies in shelters.  Some litters cost upwards of $1000 for formula, food and medical attention.  We can only save as many as we can afford.  Unfortunately the need is growing and the cost of saving these gentle lives is increasing year after year.   We are a 501c3 not for profit corporation so any donation is tax deductible.

Foster

Once an animal is taken out of the shelter, they do not go back to a shelter environment.  Our foster homes socialize the dogs and take care of them until they are ready for their forever homes.  Sometimes it's a couple of weeks, sometimes it's 2-5 months pending on the foster.

Our fosters are very dedicated and love their babies.  Fosters are crucial to the rescue and help us rescue more animals.

Volunteer

Can't foster but want to be involved?  We are always looking for volunteers to work in the office, help on Saturdays at adoption events and help with fund raisers.  We also need dog walkers, puppy washers and with large litters of hand feeders, we need "mom helpers" to help feed for a shift.
